Harley Davidson F150 Article
The history of the Ford Harley Davidson F-150 starts back in 1999. It has evolved through six F-150 model pickups, with super cab to crew cab models and even Super Duty F-250 and F-350 models. Truly, this is an American Classic.
Although most would stop and stare at any of the models, the 2005 model boasted an interior which followed the trademark Harley high end formula of black leather and chrome. The 22 inch forged aluminum split 5 spoke designed wheels added to the Harley theme.
What more could a Harley Davidson owner or enthusiast want in life? In 2006 the Harley Davidson F-150 went toward a classic monochromatic black and chrome theme. Its custom grille and forged rims really added to the desired look. This model also had a custom grille that added to the effect made by the forged rims. This F-150 also was tuned for performance from its suspension to its Triton engine. Last but not least, Ford saw fit to add a new tuned exhaust. Not quite the distinctive Harley Davidson thunder, but close enough to carry the theme.
Another great option in 2006 was the 5.4 liter Triton V-8 with options of 4 x 2 or all-wheel drive models. This was the first Ford pickup to offer this option. Many F-150 enthusiasts were happy to see the AWD option finally available, even if only on this limited edition model.
The 2007 models carry that distinctive black leather interior formed into two
captain\'s chairs for the front seat passengers. This model comes in the crew cab
configuration which has the black leather theme carried through the center floor
console into the rear seats.
